Chapter 7

My Journey with UI/UX Learning Processes

As a student in the field of UI/UX design, my journey has been both exciting and challenging. Throughout my first semester, I have learned a great deal about understanding human personas, visual narration, designing interfaces, and understanding human-computer interactions. In addition, I have attended workshops and visited exhibitions to gain more knowledge and expand my horizons to the real market.

One of the most impactful experiences during my journey was attending the workshops, which were essentially design sprints. It helped me to understand how UX researchers work as a team, and we worked on sustainability goals. Although I didn't realize it at the time, I later understood the value of what we were doing. It's funny how we humans often value things later in life.

As the end of the first semester approached, we had exams, and it felt like we hadn't learned anything. But during the exams, the magic happened. We had practical exams that required us to create applications, website interfaces, and landing pages. After giving the exams, we felt like we had learned a great deal during that time. It was amazing to see the progress we had made and the knowledge we had gained.

In conclusion, I learned a great deal during the first semester, even though it didn't feel like it at times. I put a lot of effort into learning new things and software on my own, as college doesn't teach everything. It led me to understand that if we want to achieve something, we must put in the effort because no one will spoon-feed us. We have to fight our own path.

As I continue my journey with UI/UX learning processes, I am excited to see what the future holds. I hope to gain more knowledge and skills, and I am eager to put them into practice.
